Meaningful Employment
Students must pay a daily fee to attend
Public School in Cambodia.  Poor and
many middle class families can not afford
to send their children to public school.
Aogaah Foundation® provides free
education to impoverished children so
they will someday be able to find
meaningful employment.

Without the ability to read, write and
perform simple arithmetical calculations,
the most meaningful occupation
available to young people may be
to
work 8 hours a day, 6 days a week and
earn twenty dollars a month in a moto
wash (car wash for motorbikes).

Eyes and Teeth
On Saturday, February 18, ten Western
optometrists will give free eye exams to 200
children at the Village 15 - Village 16 school.
The children of Villages 15 and 16 wish to thank
the Phnom Penh Rotary Club for making these
exams possible (
http://rcphnompenh.org/).

On Wednesday, February 29, a team of ten
Western dentists accompanied by a cadre of
dental students will give free exams to all 120
of the school's students.  In addition to the
exams, the team will take care of dental
problems.  Ian Kidd'Miller, mentioned above,
made this vital medical care available through
his professional connections.

Feel like doing some hand holding?  Come and
help the teaching staff take 120 students to the
dentist on the 29th.
