Retiree Consulting
Retired Educators
and other Retirees
Retirement provides the opportunity sit back, relax and watch the world go by. Boring !
You might feel that golf is your life. Maybe sailing or first class travel is your passion. But, you have
years of experience which are invaluable to the people of an underdeveloped nation.
No one is asking you to spend your remaining days volunteering. But maybe you are willing to give a
month now and then. After all, you had advantages. Yes, you are a self made person but never the
less, you had opportunities. Some people have never had opportunities. And without the fortunate
people giving back to the world, the unfortunate ones will never be able to lift themselves out of
poverty.
Please consider coming to Cambodia for a period of time - - even a short period of time like a month.
Aogaah Foundation® is extremely short handed. The Cambodian organization needs ideas and
techniques from people who have spent time 'in the field' of primary education - - people who have
been on the front line of teaching children.
You do not need to know Khmer, the language of Cambodia. You just need endless energy and a
desire to help others.
If Aogaah were teaching college level mathematics, we would have all the expertise we need. But the
Foundation teaches primary school. The Foundation has no one in Cambodia with primary school
experience. Good teaching is good teaching but clever ideas come from experience.
In Cambodia, working with Aogaah, you will be submerged in a new culture. You will see what tourists
rarely see. You will experience what Westerners rarely experience. You will be introduced to one of
the most difficult teaching environments known. Aogaah can not help you with expenses but will
provide you with opportunity and adventure. See the web pages Visit Cambodia and Living in
Cambodia for more local information.
Retired but not a retired educator? Yes, you can help - - there is a Teacher in all of us. Use the
