Books and Supplies
Student Supplies:
make a pen last.  So, if your insurance agent, plumber, car dealer, bank or barber gives pens away,
please ask them to send a box or two to our students:
Aogaah Foundation Schools, P. O. Box 1683, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Writing tables are always in short supply. White board markers are also a much needed teaching
supply.  Pencils? Yes, the students could use pencils, too.

Children's books:
Aogaah teaches English in communities which specifically request it. Used Children's books, like the
'Golden Book' series with lots of pictures and only 15 to 30 words per page can be purchased in USA
Thrift stores for $0.25 each.  But they are worth a million to the impoverished children of Cambodia.
When you give an impoverished Cambodian child a book, the look on the child's face is the same as
the look on a Western child's face when you give him or her a bicycle.  And do not think they are going
to turn loose of it - - they will even be sleeping with it.

Here is the Problem:  Postage is VERY expensive.

Coming for a visit?
Please see the Aogaah web page
Visit Cambodia.  If you do come for a visit, most overseas air carriers
allow two suitcases up to 50 pounds each. Think about going back to that Thrift store, purchasing an
old beat up suitcase for $3 and fill it with pens, pencils, writing tablets, white board markers and
children's books.  Your efforts will be rewarded when you see the looks on the children's faces.
